Stunning Summer Roach
Roger and Scruffy with a stunning summer Roach weighing 2lb 9oz another personel best for the Carpitright lake. Caught on the float at a depth of 8 feet, ground baiting with Hemp, brown crumb, Expo, Super cup and exploding feeder mix with mixed maggots. Fishing sweetcorn on a size 14 hook to 2lb 8oz bottom. The Roach was landed at 9.30am this morning in brilliant sunshine. Roger has also had a 3lb Tench as well as a bag full of Rudd and Perch when using maggot on the hook.
