New Website Launch - First Ever Blog

First ever blog, here goes

Welcome all to the new Carpitright website. Firstly, a big thank you to James who has gone above and beyond in creating the new site.

I hope you all like it as much as I do. Please take time to look around, visit the lake page to watch videos filmed from various swims around the lake during the wonderful late summer of 2010. Use the new scroll feature to look through the picture folders in the gallery. As the year progresses I hope to capture the arrival of the swallows drinking on the wing from the lake, the kingfishers fishing from the overhanging margins, maybe the badgers and deer if I'm lucky, flora and fauna, miraculously bursting into life as it does every year, transforming the countryside around us.

The addition of twitter and a regular blog will keep everybody up to date with the latest news from the lake, catch reports, the wildlife, the kitchen garden etc

Its not long now until the best month of the year 'APRIL' Why? The new season kicks in! From now until April I will be busy, slowly sorting everything out and getting ready for the new season, I do have some new ideas to consider which I will cover in future blogs before the season starts.

Follow me on twitter for the latest news..

As this is a new site you may notice some spelling or grammatical errors, hopefully they will be corrected soon.
